You could be a sweet dream,
Or a beautiful nightmare
Either way I don't wanna wake up from
you..
You are who you are

//don't wait till you lose something, then only you start learning to treasure

Guess what, something caught my attention while i watched the 9pm channel 8 show last night. Something that sets me thinking again. Actually, it wasn't so bad initially till i kept thinking bout it and plus while blog hopping just now, i came across a not so close friend's blog. And adding on was what one of my friend is going through. It really make me ponder more.

In the show, Jesseca Liu asked Christopher Lee, "我是不是很难相处? 我是不是很讨人厌?" (something like that). Christopher Lee laughed and replied, "你现在才知道啊? 可是你就是你啊, 何必要管人家怎样想呢?为什么要伪装自己来让别人喜欢你?".

Isn't what he said in the show true? Why must you change yourself just to let others like you? You are who you are, why must you be someone else whom you are not just to get yourself into other people's good book? Esp your friends, your lover. Why must you change just to please him or her? Why must you change for others and be what they want you to be?

Case 1, in my so called friend's blog, she was saying how her boyf don't like her to do this and that (like clubbing, pubbing, coming home late and stuffs) for fear she might being led astray or something. And so she really didnt. Case 2, another of my friend, was being 'controlled' by her boyf in a way if he don't like her to hang out with certain friends(guys), he will so called 'restrict' her from hanging out with them despite explaining that they are only friends.

Especially in r/s, why must one party restrict the other by determinating who they should hang out with, and who shouldnt? Why must the other party ask the other to change and to be who they want the other to be? Or take another case, friends. Why would they want to restrict their friends to stop hanging with so and so just because they don't like them? Why can't they give the other party freedom, wait till they cross the line then start setting rules?

But wait a minute, aren't trust one of the crucial thing in all r/s?

On the other hand, if it's for their own good, why not? Why not they change for the better? Why not listen to the other party and stay on the right track? It's really contradicting, aren't it?

Lucky for me, i wasn't so much of being restricted by baby. I still have much of a freedom except things that are for my own good, then she will start restricting me. For instance like she will forbid me from taking spicy stuffs at times cos i have gastric and stuffs.

Oh well. Tonight, there are more question marks than usual. Maybe i am too free or something, questions just kept popping out. I know it's contradicing. But i came up with a conclusion, accept others for who they are especially they are make this way, love them for what they are and not who you want them to be. And if you really want them to get rid of their die hard bad habits(eg bad-tempered), try your best to help and not demand them to change on their own.

Alright, that's quite a penny for thoughts. I am done nagging here. Off to own time now. Toodles!

P/S: It's nice having to know you are greatly missed by friends despite having not met for a long time i should say (:
