Don't even know what attracted him to this place. Bet must be those photos outside -.-
I was famished! We didn't have any proper meal ever since we touched down in the morning ):
We didn't notice the fish / seafoods were so expensive! The exchange rate was bout 4.6 if i'm not wrong.
Free flow of Chinese Tea.
Very fresh but overpriced fish!
Very cruchy Kailan! Doesn't have the chemical taste like some in Singapore.
They called this Yi Ping Guo (一品锅). There are prawns, pig stomach, mushrooms, and i don't know what else. But it was delicious!
Our foods + other people's foods. The restaurant was full so that couple had to share with us.
The fishes were staring at us for eating their friend perhaps.
Dad always buy this back from Malaysia. Don't what it's called. But the meat is very more tender than those of lobsters.
After our dinner, we walked back the same route to Senado Square.
Night view of Senado Square. Very pretty with the lightings on (:
All the historical buildings were being lighted up!
We decided to walk further down before flagging down a cab. There were a lot of casinos around Senado Square. The casino was dressed up in a very colorful 'outfit' and I bet Las Vegas Casinos are somehow lited up almost the same way!
Casino Lisboa. Hotel Lisboa is a 4 star hotel and is at least $180 per night.
Change of lightings color.
We managed to hop on a cab and continue our journey to the Venetian City. It's a must go place when you are in Macau. Needless to say, they have a casino there too. For your info, Venetian City is one of the 5 star and expensive hotel to stay. At least $300+ per night!
Reaching The Venetian. Around the hotel is Hard Rock Hotel, City Of Dreams (A must go place too) and Grand Hyatt (if i am not wrong).
The doorman was dressed up like those sailors. So interesting!
Interior of The Venetian. As mentioned by the name, they were designed to be like Venice. Boats on river. The 'river ride' was close by the time we reached.
We inside The Venetian!
The inside was really gorgeous! The ceiling looks very real too!
Admiring the beautiful view they have.
Touch Screen Directory. Technology is really advancing day by day.
Then after, we went to the casino. My first time into a casino and i really love it! An eye-opener for me! And well, beginner luck i guess cos I won bout S$100 :D
Darling secretly took a photo for me in the casino. That's why the photo is kinda blur. Hahaha!
The toilet there. Looks very grand!
Medusa on the ceiling. In the greek history, she was said to turn onlookers into stones. Read more about her
here.
Ceiling of the building.
With the icon of The Venetian Hotel. Damn, the lady took this photo for us without any skills!
Walking out of the hotel to take more photos of the gorgeous city of Macau!
Exterior of The Venetian Hotel. I really love this photo! Looks very magnificent and royal!
Love the background!
With Hard Rock and Crown Hotel in the background.
Took quite a number of photos but didn't put here. If you have the chance, go and see for yourself (:
That was the last stop for the day. Took a cab back to somewhere near our hotel. When visiting the Chinese countries, how can we missed out desserts for supper? We asked the uncle to drop us at Senado Square which was pretty near our hotel.
Found this dessert shop and decided to give it a try since it won a couple of awards. Haha! That's how i judged if it's worth trying the foods sometime. Lol!
Their wide range of choices on the menu. But well, i always look out for my usual.
Don't have almond paste with ballings so i had walnut paste and darling had black sesame paste. They really live up to their name. It was really rather delicious!
Back to hotel, showered, changed and called it a day!
But my tum jia darling was very tempted to try out the almond cookies we got in the afternoon =/ Took a very adorable photo of him eating, but cannot be uploaded here cos he never wear a top! LOL!
Woke up at around 11am the next day to pack, checked out and have our breakfast cum lunch. We didn't make it for breakfast cos we were really overly exhausted due to the lack of sleep the previous night we flew. After we checked out, we left our luggage at the reception while we had our lunch nearby.
Walked left right, and we decided to settle at this shop that looked rather old and dirty. Our concept is, the older the better the foods! So we went in.
Found a table on the 2nd floor.
Our foods are here!
Roasted duck!
Steamed Pork Ribs.
Something like fish ball / cake. Very tender with fish head meat inside.
Don't know what is this called in English. In chinese is called 鸡扎. Wrapped with mushroom and chicken meat inside. Different from those in Singapore.
Overall, we had a very yummy lunch! It cost about S$20.
The shop is located at this street.
Took last few photos outside our hotel.
This is where our hotel is located at.
Outside our hotel lobby.
Waiting for our cab at the lobby to send us to the jetty.
Past by this 妈祖 statue on our way to the jetty. There is another place of interest we didn't visit.
Alright! That's all for Macau. Overall, I quite like Macau, partially cos i won at the casino there. Haha! Also the people and foods there! Very pretty place i should say. Recommended to visit if you are going Hong Kong or Shenzhen.
Next up, Shenzhen trip. My most unhappy part of the trip! ):
