i wanna slp alr.
but before i slp, i wanna share a story.
2 weeks ago, a cousin of mine underwent a brain operation due to the bursting of a blood vessel in the brain.
having the blood vessels in the brain to burst is a very serious case.
it can leads to permanent brain damage or even death.
she was in the ICU for almost a week.
slept for bout a week too (doc was worried that she might get very agitated)!
however, my cousin am very lucky that she is okay.
recovering at the moment.
heard that yesterday she need to undergo another operation to remove the fluid in her head.
went to visit her 2 nights ago.
as we step into the ward, we saw her husband and her hands are locked together.
the last time i saw my cousin-in-law, he didnt look that haggard.
now you can see strands and strands of white hairs on top of his head.
he became thinner (he is alr a pack of bones. imagine now?!).
somehow, you can imagine how he look like now.
he haven't been eating well and slping well i guess.
he travelled to and fro the hospital, home and workplace everyday.
imagine how tiring he is!
and 2 weeks ago, he risk of losing her beloved wife.
3 weeks of not seeing her own children.
she miss them very badly.
all she can do is look at the photos in the handphone.
she is worried bout them.
all she hope is to discharge and hug her children tight in her arms.
sometimes, i wonder, how amazing love can be.
the love between parents and children.
the love between couples.
love between parents and children.
no matter what happened, parents are parents afterall.
they always want the best for their kids.
watch them grow, watch them progress to be an useful and successful person.
they can even risk their life to protect their children.
which parent would wanna leave their children behind for the netherworld.
no matter how stubborn parents can be, deep in their heart, they love their kids.
(just that most don't know how to express. esp asians.)love between couples.
they went through trials and tributes to be together.
they went through thick and thin together.
they stand by each other in times of troubles and sickness.
no doubt, there are disagreements at times.
but this strengthen their love in one way or another.
it makes them treasure each other even more.
makes them realised how much they mean to each other.
my cousin and her husband is one classic example.
he love her wholeheartedly.
no matter what, he never leave her.
no matter how restless he is, he never give up.
instead, he stay by her side almost day and night.
be her pillar of strength.
he love her everything.
sometimes, it sets me thinking.
do this kinda man actually exist?
i've seen to many in my family that it caused me to have a phobia of love and marriage.
sometimes, i wonder is my Chia's family under some kind of curse.
out of my grandpa's 10 children, only 4 managed to keep a long marriage and is ongoing now of cos (including my parents).
did i get the curse as well?
i certainly hope not.
all these Chia people certainly contribute to my doubts.
do true love actually exist?
is there really a man who is willing to stand by me no matter rain or shine (proverty or sickness)?
is there really a man who will love me whole heartedly?
is there really a man who is willing to be my pillar of strength?
these people made me keep to myself in some ways.
as in i don't really 100% depend on my partner (& friends) emotionally for fear he(they) will leave me the next moment.
i don't know.
prove me wrong.
it's just part of my reflection.
will put it at the back of my mind at the moment.
just a lil dream of mine.
anyway.
i gonna slp alr.
night!
